Configuring Email Templates

Follow
When using the Ship to Multiple Addresses feature, we need to make some minor edits to your Order Confirmation email template.

**New - Click here to go to an advanced email layout template for an optimized multiple shipping address email**

We need to add a liquid snippet for the order confirmation email template in Shopify's Notification Settings.

Go to Settings --> Notifications --> Order Confirmation, as seen below:

At the very top of your file, insert the following code before everything else:

{% assign ms_order = false %}
{% for tag in order.tags %}
{% if tag == "ms_order" %}
{% assign ms_order = true %}
{% assign order_status_url = shop.url | append: "/account/" %}
{% endif %}
{% endfor %}

Wrap any part of the template you do not want displayed on the initial multiple address email in the following. (For example, the product loop):

{% if ms_order == false %}
<!-- Content to hide in initial multiple shipping address email -->
{% endif %}

Wrap any part of the template you do want displayed on the initial multiple address email in the following (eg. A notice letting customers know they will receive more emails for each of their orders):

{% if ms_order == true %}
<!-- Content to show in initial multiple shipping address email -->
{% endif %}
Click Save.

Click on the SMS tab above on the same template, and paste the following at the very top of the file:

{% assign ms_order = false %}
{% for tag in order.tags %}
{% if tag == "ms_order" %}
{% assign ms_order = true %}
{% assign order_status_url = shop.url | append: "/account/" %}
{% endif %}
{% endfor %}

Click Save.

If something isn't working as expected, or if you have any question regarding installation, please open a support ticket and we will be happy to assist you.
